(Naples, FL) – PBS Construction has completed four renovation projects under the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) in Collier County.
PBS was awarded three of the projects in December 2009, with the fourth project added in January 2010. The homes received wall and flooring repairs, new paint and carpeting, as well as cabinetry repairs, with all renovations completed by early April.
Additionally, PBS Construction was recently awarded two new renovation projects through the NSP. Construction on these projects started in late May, and includes insulation replacement, flooring and cabinetry repairs, and new interior and exterior paint. Located at 5465 Hunter Boulevard and 1660 41st Street SW, the homes have a projected turn around time of three months.
Project Manager Mario Valle is overseeing all renovations completed by PBS Construction.
Sponsored by the Housing, Human and Veteran Services Department of the Public Services Division of Collier County, the NSP is a program designed to purchase foreclosed homes and create affordable housing opportunities under the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008. All renovated homes will be sold to income-qualified families, and per NSP mandates, all homes must remain affordable for a period of 15 years.
PBS Construction is one of Collier County’s pre-qualified contractors. For more information on this or other projects, please visit www.PBScontractors.com or www.colliergov.net/humanservices.
