DESCRIPTION:

Seacrest Country Day School is a premier private school in Naples currently serving pre-K through 9th grade and enrolling students from Bonita Springs to Marco Island.

Phase I of the campus improvement program consisted of a reconfiguration of the campus and construction of the 17,000 square-foot, two-story Resource Center building at the south end of the newly created courtyard. The Resource Center, designed by Burt Hill/Pollock & Krieg, contains the library, media center, technology labs, computer labs and flexible classrooms.  The advanced technology used in the Center attracted media attention.  The site work required that the entry road be re-routed on three separate occasions. PBS’ efforts ensured a smooth transition for parents during drop-off and pick-up as well as the children’s safety.

Phase 2 completed in September 2000 added a 6,500 square-foot Student Services Building. Phase 3 completed in March 2002 added an 11,574 square-foot two story building, including six classrooms and two high tech labs as designed by Mark J. Leonardi Architects.

Phase 4, completed in May 2003, includes a gymnasium/auditorium also designed by Mark J. Leonardi Architects. The ribbon cutting ceremony of the gymnasium coincided with the 20th birthday of Seacrest Country Day School.
