A unique project, the interior design for the commercial retrofit at Conditioned Air included the building’s framework and industrial structure. Steel beams and exposed floor joists weave through the offices, accented by Tektum ceiling panels—all of which serve to reflect light and soften sound. With reflective lighting systems and cool shades of lavender, the offices are ergonomically comfortable for their occupants. Sixteen opaque Kal-wall skylights bring in natural lighting, without the heat of the sun, while floor to ceiling windows give both the interior and exterior offices an open feeling. This structure represents a fantastic fusion of form and function.
