Totaling at over 6,000 square feet under-roof, this large new construction project now serves as a group home for developmentally disabled adult females, providing safe, Christian living quarters for those in need. The facility consists of two caretaker quarters and six resident quarters, each with their own bathroom utilities. A large kitchen efficiently serves the communal eating area, while a complete laundry facility handles the community’s clothing needs. In addition to these practical facilities, Protected Harbor also features a craft room, two-car garage, and a management office for the director of programming. The site development of this project included new fire lines, sewer lines, a fire lane, and a parking lot.
