NAPLES, FLORIDA, April 15, 2025: PBS Contractors is proud to announce that its Spring 2025 Russell’s Barbecue raised more than $10,000 for Grace Place for Children and Families. Held on April 4 at the PBS headquarters in Naples, the invitation-only event welcomed over 300 friends, clients, and community members for an unforgettable afternoon of good food and community giving.
Russell’s Barbecue is hosted each spring and fall by PBS Founder, Russell Budd and the PBS Contractors team, along with the crew from Wall Systems. What started as a friendly cookout has grown into a signature gathering focused on giving back. This year, the menu featured something new—steaks, sausage, and the debut of “Budd’s Burnt Ends”.
While the lunch is complimentary, guests are invited to donate to a chosen local nonprofit, with 100% of donations going directly to the organization. The event is entirely run by PBS employee volunteers. This season, all proceeds benefited Grace Place for Children and Families, a Naples-based nonprofit committed to breaking the cycle of poverty through education.
“This event is about more than barbecue,” said Russell Budd, Founder of PBS Contractors. “It’s a reflection of who we are as a company—bringing people together, celebrating community, and supporting causes that make a difference.”
