What once was the home of the Naples-Fort Myers Greyhound Track became the state-of-the-art entertainment facility. This high-profile commercial construction of a 31,606 square foot multi-use facility includes an innovative exterior design, a 37-table live poker room, and ample back-of-house space to support operations. In addition to the new gaming areas, the facility houses a full-service restaurant and bar for patrons and guests. The project covers 9+ acres and is the southeast area of the City of Bonita Springs, visible from every corner of the intersection at Old 41 Road and Bonita Beach Road.

“Cap-rock”. The entire site was riddled with underground rock which made for difficult excavation.

This challenge would have set any contractor back by eight months but with PBS’ Project Manager David Minton at the helm, he was able to find the resources to deal with the excavation and removal of the rock without incurring extra costs to the budget.

Relationships. The trust that has established with the Trade Partners, City Officials and inspectors in Collier and Lee counties, allows PBS to keep projects moving forward.

It has been a pleasure to work directly with PBS in constructing our new Bonita Springs Poker Room so we could move our Naples Fort Myers Greyhound operations to our beautiful new facility. PBS understood our needs to expeditiously value engineer during the design and development phase and worked diligently with us to keep our project on a strict budget and compressed critical timeline. The level of communication, turnaround and attention to detail from the start to finish of the project surpassed our expectations. Their Project Management and leadership team is top notch, their onsite staff are hardworking and trustworthy and it is evident they all take pride in their work and business relations. We were pleased with all of the trade partners involved in the project. It is evident that PBS has a great reputation with the contractors in Southwest Florida and they definitely get our recommendation.
