Be a Lifetime Learner

At PBS, we need only to turn to our Culture and our Fundamentals, the principles that guide us in our daily operations, to find the inspiration to continually improve ourselves. Be a Great Team Member, treat people with respect, and they will likely reciprocate. Practice Blameless Problem Solving, and you can get to the solution without the distraction of assessing fault. Be Fanatic About Response Time, and you’ll never be late. Every one of our 28 Fundamentals provides an underlying opportunity to develop as team members, service providers, and individuals.

We’ll never know it all, and certainly, we will never achieve perfection. But we should never tire of trying. Make it a point to learn something, seek the answer to a question, or listen to another perspective every day. There are so many resources available to us, so many ways that we can kick it up a notch. We can read a book or listen to one, stay current with our newsfeeds, or watch a webinar or YouTube video. Don’t know how to do something? Google it. Need an idea? Check out social media.

 There really are no excuses.

We can teach old dogs new tricks… and by the way, none of us are old dogs!! If it’s not broken, we can still fix it, change it, improve it, or customize it. The world keeps evolving, with new techniques and technologies continuously emerging, challenging the way we’ve always done it. Take every opportunity to work on yourself so you will be the best version of yourself you can be.

If you are an A-player who never stops learning, who is always curious and open to exploring alternatives, and who is laser-focused on achieving the highest-quality outcomes, we would like to speak with you about joining our world-class team.
