NAPLES, FLORIDA, MAY 10, 2023: PBS Contractors is pleased to announce the completion of Sports Challenge America at Bonita Springs Poker Room. The project was completed in collaboration with JMDG Architecture, Hole Montes, Structural Select, and other local trade partners.

The first-of-its-kind sports complex offers a six-lane bowling alley and five simulator rooms allowing guests to pick from numerous golf courses worldwide, soccer, shooting, and more. There is a par-3 challenge hole, a football field-goal kicking challenge, a basketball full-court shot challenge, a soccer goal challenge, and a baseball pitching challenge. The venue also features a private room for personal or business events and indoor and outdoor seating. Sports Challenge America’s outdoor food and beverage amenity called Teed Up serves comfort food and fabulous drinks while watching live activities or favorite sports teams play.

“After Hurricane Ian ravaged Southwest Florida, this project became more, as it became a labor of love for all those involved. Sports Challenge America is a place where people can come together, a place where families can build memories, a place where community spirit is made, and everyone can simply add a little fun to their lives. As we open the doors of Sports Challenge America, our owners Barbara Havenick and family along with our COO Scott Savin and I want to thank PBS Contractors, JMDG Architectures, Hole Montes, and everyone involved with making this vision a reality and this reality a symbol of the unity and strength of Bonita Springs and Southwest Florida,” says Jeff Murphy EVP & General Manager of Sports Challenge America & Bonita Springs Poker Room.

“PBS Contractors couldn’t be prouder to continue our relationship with Southwest Florida Enterprises to bring this one-of-a-kind facility to the Southwest Florida community and to work alongside other local firms. In March 2022, we broke ground on the property and faced the challenges of Hurricane Ian and extensive stormwater management. However, our team greatly responded with solutions to exceed our client’s expectations,” says David Minton, Senior Project Manager of PBS Contractors.

Southwest Florida Enterprises owns the entire 100-acre property on the corner of Bonita Beach Road and Old 41. The site includes the Bonita Springs Poker Room and Brass Tap, which opened in 2020 and was also completed by PBS Contractors.

The venue is located at 28010 Race Track Rd, Bonita Springs, FL 34135. Visit the Sports Challenge America website for updated information and the sports complex hours.
